On national media, New Jersey Governor Murphy just claimed that he has an “unlawful resident” (translation: Illegal Alien) living over “his” garage. Yes, at the home where he lives. Is this the official NJ Governor’s mansion, Drumthwacket? I certainly hope not. He also cranked up his rather creepy face and declared that if ICE sought to enter “his” property to arrest said illegal alien – “Good Luck!”
Why is our Governor talking so tough? Did he join the “Proud Boys”? Is he now a “White Supremacist” threat to National Security? Is he a danger to himself and others? Does he own guns? I’m sensing some serious January 6th “Insurrection” attitude here! (nod-nod-wink-wink)
Come on, Phil! Do you realize how ridiculous you look? NJ Rule #1: If you’re gonna’ do stupid stuff, shut up about it! How embarrassing.
Is Governor Murphy implying that he will use his New Jersey taxpayer-financed NJ State Trooper Security Detail to resist Federal ICE Agents lawfully engaged in discharging the duties of their job – ie. to round up illegals and deport them?
Murphy isn’t just Joe Blow from Bloomfield. He’s the Governor. He’s showing everybody his middle finger. Let’s get this straight: Governor Murphy claims on national media that he is harboring a violator of Federal Immigration Law – and subsidizing them by allowing them refuge and sanctuary on his property. That’s “Aiding and Abetting” a federal lawbreaker. He’s enabling criminal conduct. If this is true, he’s guilty of a federal crime.
The New Jersey Governor is setting an example and tone that is in direct opposition to the immigration policies clearly enunciated by President Donald Trump and ICE Director Tom Holman. His message to New Jersey people is: We’re a Sanctuary State. I won’t follow Federal law and neither should you.
Of course, Governor Murphy thinks nothing of reaching out to President Trump to “Congratulate” him on his Presidential win – and begging for his help in getting New York State to repeal their “Congestion Tax” – but when it comes to Murphy backing the President in his critical efforts to remove illegals from our country, he flips Trump the Jersey bird. Murphy even struts around Trump’s Bedminster Golf Course like an honored guest – and, no doubt, scores a few free meals. But help the President? No way.
Many I’ve spoken to about this just roll their eyes and say: “He’s a Jersey Democrat…what do you expect?” Is this where we find ourselves? Don’t expect anything and we won’t be disappointed?
Perhaps it’s time we all reach out to the simpering, limp-wrists that populate the New Jersey Republican Party and force them petition our (Murphy Appointed) Attorney General to “remind” Governor Murphy that he’s not above the law. He’s a Governor – albeit a lame duck one. He’s answerable to his constituency and the United States Constitution that he swore an oath to uphold. Murphy has to change his message and apologize for his reckless and insurrectionist comments.
Then he’s got to evict this – allegedly – illegal alien that’s living at his “home” with his blessing and support.
Democrat clowns who obstruct Trump’s clear mandate for change have got to go. Governor Murphy is no longer relevant. His time is passed. Like DEI, we’ve all moved on. But he can’t be allowed to treat Federal law with impunity and disdain, either. On National media, no less.
NJ Republicans have got to grab this moment. Sweet Jesus, guys…. stand up already.
